If ever there was a website that was a "work in progress" then it is this one, although even that is probably optimistic. The eventual aim is twofold and will no doubt face many unforeseen obstacles along the way,  but here is the gist.

Much as we would love to restore the old 405 line transmitters and start broadcasting over the airwaves that just isn't going to happen, even if we could get around all the red tape that would no doubt be involved!

However, this is very much a case of "new" comes to the rescue of the "old" and broadcasting worldwide is now a relatively simple matter, which best of all doesn't cost much! Indeed websites such as YouTube are already doing precisely that and, to the end user, free of charge.

Obviously at this stage, although many people are interested in vintage broadcasts; that doesn't help those who want to view this on the original receiving equipment of the day and that really is our main objective. What I'm looking to develop alongside the site itself is a low cost, high quality, method of doing just that.

Having worked on cutting edge electronic imaging systems for many years I'm under no illusions regarding the task ahead and as it is only a part time project I don't expect quick results, however, I am absolutely convinced of its feasibility... So watch this space as they say...
